Wren and Goldcrest comparison pictures

Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) and Goldcrest (Regulus regulus)

I guess the frogs in my last post would have been a better subject for a leap day picture! However, these are a couple of shots I took today, 2 of the UK’s smallest birds, neither of which like to sit still for more than a millisecond. The Wren and Goldcrest.

First up, a Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes)

A Goldcrest  (Regulus regulus) which actually looks like it wants to do some damage to me!
